Just solid old-growth timber walls, a wood stove that'll have the room warm inside twenty minutes, and a view through the single window that most hotel rooms in Norway would charge a fortune for. The roof and exterior cladding were replaced in the late 1970s, so the structure is sound. What it needs now is someone who appreciates what it is: a century-old refuge in one of the least-visited mountain plateaus in Nordland, sold complete with every piece of furniture and equipment inside it.
