This chalet for sale in Hornindal, Norway, sits 500 metres from the ski centre and has a 60 m² terrace facing Hornindalsvatnet and the mountains. Built in 2014 on a 1,634 m² plot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the Harevadet cabin area, it is a 74 m² two-bedroom in good condition. You get a wood-burning stove, a winter garden and a woodshed that opens straight off it. The whole thing is set up for low-effort use: arrive, light the stove, and the weekend starts.

The living room has high ceilings, large windows and glass doors that frame the surrounding mountains and the lake. The kitchen is open to the living area, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. On cold evenings the wood-burning stove does the heavy lifting.
The main floor has two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other a bunk bed, which keeps the floor space free. Upstairs, a loft (hems) adds more sleeping places, handy for children or overflow guests. Because of its lower ceiling height it is not counted in the official 74 m², so the space you actually use is a little larger than the number suggests.
The bathroom is tiled and has a shower cabin, a toilet, underfloor heating and a connection for a washing machine. After a day on skis, a warm floor is a small luxury you will notice immediately.
### Terrace, Winter Garden and Plot
The terrace is over 60 m² and wraps around several sides of the chalet, so there is always a corner with sun or shelter from the wind. Morning coffee facing the valley, dinner on the other side: the layout gives you the choice.
For days when the weather does not cooperate, the winter garden is a glass-walled, sheltered space where you can still sit with the view. The woodshed co ... click here to read more
